Hey everyone. I’ve been thinking quite a bit lately about a couple of physical syndromes that seem to be more prevalent in today’s society than ever: Forward Head Syndrome and Rounded Shoulders (also known as Kyphosis). My airplane ride a couple of weeks ago really got me focused on these physical issues and the more I remain aware of them the more I see them every where I go.

One great thing about being back at school this week!  I’m burning tons of calories!! Yesterday I burned 2156 calories by 4:15pm, without really doing that much.  Just walking around the school from the main office to my classroom, to other teachers’ classrooms, etc I took 5162 steps.  That’s a lot more than I normally get without doing some sort of intentional exercise, which is great.

We have a lot of people coming in and out, and many people who wear blue jeans are constantly getting up and down from the chairs and sofas, which puts a ton of wear and tear on the seat cushions. This does necessitate my mom having to always buy and replace the cushion slip covers , so that the cushions stay looking new and clean.

I love my bathroom. It just has that spa like appeal, which is the way I designed it. Most people want to feel like they are being pampered when they are in their bathroom at home. It seems like most people like to choose a home based upon the bathroom and upon the kitchen. That is why I loved it when I got the new  round whirlpool bathtubs in my home. I know that I will love it while I am here, and other people will love it when we want to sell the house. It will make more sense to have them.

This past Friday, I was fortunate enough to go see Inglourious Basterds with some of my gaming friends. I’m not a die-hard Tarantino fan, but it does seem that I keep going to see his movies. It was great – the previews lead you to believe that it is going to be an ultra-violent film, but in reality it’s not that at all. It does have it’s moments of violence, but they serve as punctuation marks. The story itself is long and winding, filled with tense moments of dialogue, and you wait for the violence to explode.

I know, last season’s WVU prediction was a disaster. I didn’t think coaching would be a problem with Pat White, Noel Devine, a veteran offensive line and a solid defense.
